SPSCourses.com offers a full set of sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) plant health distance learning training courses targeted to international regulators and officials, industry groups, private sector and industry groups, and others. Interactive and web-based, these courses support the effort to integrate SPS good principles on food safety, animal health, and plant health in trade along agricultural value chains. Many modules available in Spanish, French and Arabic. Topics include Pest Surveillance, Plant Pest ID Systems, Inspections, Pest Risk Analysis, Assessment and Management, Phytosanitary Certification, Pest Risk Communication and many more.
AFSI’s partners in MRL harmonization work with North Carolina State University’s Center of Excellence for Regulatory Science in Agriculture (CERSA). The topics that CERSA Trainings provide:
— Maximum Residue Limits (MRL) 101 Series
— Pesticide Risk Assessments, with subtopics in Dietary Risk (2 parts), Environmental Fate, and International Harmonization.

The Groundnut Academy is offered by Feed the Future’s Innovation Lab for Peanut, led by the University of Georgia. The course “Aflatoxin” provides training on understanding aflatoxin, detecting it, risk factors for Aspergillus infection, and steps to reduce the risk of aflatoxin contamination.
